Clearer, Crisper Images & Video with the New Rayfin Mk2 Subsea Camera

New Sensor for Better Subsea Images

Big news! We’ve taken our signature subsea camera and made it even better. With our new sensor comes powerful upgrades. What do the new upgrades bring to the Rayfin Mk2 subsea camera?

Better in Low Light

The new sensor is larger and has larger individual pixels which results in better light sensitivity. This means it’s easier than ever to capture high-quality 4K and HD digital stills and video, especially in darker subsea environments.

Able to See More

The Rayfin now has a wider field of view, meaning your camera can see or capture more of your target. It also has a wider depth of field giving it the ability to focus down to 15cm for macro imaging and to infinity for all other applications.

Faster

It is able to operate at higher shutter speeds and ISO ranges. This allows a broader range of applications and more flexibility to capture moving subjects.

Tried and True Benefits

Available in Benthic and Coastal models, the upgraded sensor complements an already powerful underwater camera that saves you time, money, and ultimately makes your job easier.

Intuitive and Easy-to-Use

The Rayfin has an intuitive layout and simple software setup.  All of the controls are at your fingertips, allowing you to take photos and video without having to read a lengthy manual.

Quick Setup and Integration

Be ready for deployment in under an hour. The Rayfin can quickly integrate with your lights, lasers, and other auxiliary devices, like sensors, instead of relying on complex wiring or additional hardware.

Superior Software and Storage

The Rayfin comes with built-in automation settings. These settings -- or scripts -- will allow your camera to capture time-lapse videos and stills. Plus, the Rayfin cameras record and store over 10 hours of 4K video, 40+ hours of HD video, and thousands of digital stills. Your job is made easier and more efficient with built-in depth, tilt and roll sensors, and the ability to capture NMEA sensor data.

Proven, Rugged Design

Capture the sharpest images in the harshest environments thanks to the scratch-resistant sapphire lens paired with water-corrected LiquidOpticsTM. Our lenses are anti-reflective and ideal for most marine research, science, and offshore applications. Finally, our Rayfin cameras are pressure-tested and proven in the field.

End-to-End Support

What’s more, we ensure you’re set up for success by providing comprehensive remote onboarding and end-to-end support.
